If laughter is the best medicine, then Funny Money will cure what ails you. It’s two hours of pure silliness and fun that has even the actors cracking up at times. When a milquetoast accountant (played by loose-limbed funny-man Christian Murray) finds a briefcase full of money, he decides to abscond with it to Spain, but his prim wife (Ann-Marie Kerr, who is hilarious) refuses. Complications pile on complications as friends, cops (both crooked and honest) and a very likeable cabbie get involved. The comic timing in this show is impeccable, and the pace is non-stop. Fun farce, perfectly executed.
