Great Atlantic Blues & Beyond Festival (Sep 19-21) have announced some of the blues, R&B, soul and world musicians that will be coming to town in order to make you shake your buns. With musicians from Atlantic and central Canada, New England, Iceland and UK, you might want to start feelin’ it now. Weekend passes are $111. There’s also going to be a gourmet food village, a juried artisan exhibition and marketplace and a children’s playground for the young’uns. Oh yeah, and there’s music too. From the likes of Johnny Winter, Charlie Musselwhite, John Hammond, Bettye LaVette, Coco Montoya, Nappy Brown and his Orchestra, The Duke Robillard Band, Big Bill Morganfield, Dawn Tyler Blues Project, Taj Mahal’s Phantom Blues Band, John Campbelljohn, Roy Rogers and the Delta Rhythm Kings, Samuel James and others.
