For the people who think they are too cool to walk their dogs on leashes, especially pitbulls/mastiffs/rotties… Please stop this shit! I know you are intending to be intimidating and threatening looking, but it is really super scary to other dog walkers, runners, and kids. Can’t dogs sense and smell fear? If one of your uncastrated ugly mutts ever muckles onto me when I run by, I swear I will pummell that f–cker to a bloody pulp, plus get you arrested. Hey, I might even get you arrested before I get attacked, I just have to describe your slacker expression (“He just had a totally bored look on his face, officer, and hooded eyes.”), and your mutt with the head like a cement block, balls practically dragging on the sidewalk. I can say you moved the mutt in front of me, like you were intending to cut me off/scare me!!!! Ha, I’m doing this from now on when I see one of you shits! There is a leash law, but you probably don’t read anyhow. Stupids.

so is this bitch against the use of leashes or for it? the first sentence and the last sentence make it unclear. and as for feeling intimidated by large dogs…thats your fear to deal with. ive owned rotties before as well as a pitbull and two amstaffs…all gentle lovely dogs. so instead of pummelling the dog like the dummy u may well be..maybe rap the owner on the side of his head for teaching his dog to be a problem dog.
Nope read again, the poster said they think they are too cool to use leashes. She is against dumb fucks who walk with their dogs without leashes. I agree. Especially if they are walking on a sidewalk, what’s to stop that dog from running across the road?Exactly. Now I have to wash my car because it has fur and blood on it.Then I have to sue the dumb fuck and hopefully Judge Mathis is available…
A few years back, well, 10 years ago, I was walking my friends dog. An American Blue Pit. The most well behaved dog, very friendly, listened very well, easy to walk. One day I was walking him across the street, ON A LEASH and he jumped up and grabbed at a woman. Thankfully he just grabbed her bag and not her arm. Point is, with some breeds of dogs, and pits and rotties are NOT the only ones, German sheppards, Huskies, Chiwawas, yeah I got bit by a chiwawa….they can all be dangerous dogs, regardless of how well they are rasied. And when you are walking your dog in the PUBLIC, whether on a sidewalk in a park or anywhere else for that matter, the dog, regardless of breed, should be on a leash.
aside from the fact that having any dog on a public side walk off leash is being a negligent dog owner and just plain ignorant to fellow sidewalk users ( remember, some people have a very real fear of ANY size/breed dog of dogs ). There is also the issue of saftey and liability for others. How would you feel if your dog sudden ran into the road and caused a fatal accident( to the dog, motorist, innocent pedestrians at the wrong place wrong time ) even one that was not fatal could leave you open to liability and law suits for all sorts of damages. case and point……http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24530214) For the love of god people, use a leash. It’s just common sense. Regardless of how well behaved you think your dog is it still has a mind of its own, 4 very fast legs and an animal instinct to chase things that can’t be “trained” out of him. for the record, i own two dogs and am a serious dog lover.
I have a very well behaved Australian Shepherd, she’s very smart, and not threatening, however she still thinks that every skater boy she sees is one of my brothers friends. So she gets excited and wants to play with them. So even if you have a smart calm well behaved dog, not expected to attack someone, they could still jump at someone you’re walking past, and even if they’re just trying to play, this can be terrifying to other people. So keep your dog on a leash, no matter what kind, or how friendly they are. It’s just common courtesy.
Dogs were born free and free they should remain. Just because we have built this city and decided we should have a society with rules, does not mean we have to tie up innocent animals. So what if they eat a person? Too many as there is. WU TANG!
This is one of the reasons I carry a small caliber handgun. Not much danger for those around, the range isn’t far. And not likely the bullet will go through a big dog. I would more like to shoot the owner because the dog is not fully at fault, but there is more trouble involved in that. I would love (but hope I never do) to see the look on one of these tough guys faces after an altercation. Sorry doggy.
Bullshit Scott Bullshit… If you’re making a joke your humour is a little too dry for me… If you are serious, you are one fucked up dude…
ummmm. right. so…”I’m scared of your dogs, yet I will pummel them to a pulp if they attack me.” that makes a lot of sense. oh, and good luck with that.
