I’ve met about a dozen pit bulls in my life and not one of them has ever been aggressive, mean or dangerous. Most of them are giant pussies whose most aggressive activity is play.

Do you know how many dog attacks are labelled as being by pitbulls just because the person reporting them is too stupid to know what kind of dog it is? Shitloads. I’ve seen pictures of everything from cane corsos to labradors being labelled as pits.
Before them it was dobermans, and rottweilers, and german shepherds. Pits are just the de rigueur animal of the moment to foist blame off on.
My cat slit my wrist about two weeks ago. And i mean SLIT MY WRIST. She freaked out when the vacuum whirred into action and jumped out of my arms, tearing my wrist open with her back foot.
I now have an embarrassing and massive scar down the front of my left wrist.
Because of this, all cats should be set on fire. because clearly that one experience has given me full insight into cats. That ONE SINGLE experience means that cats are all homicidal maniacs whose sole purpose is to stage suicides in an effort to further their own murdery agendas.

While I lived in BC,As My son and I were walking down a busy sidewalk with my dog who was then a tiny puppy on a leash.As we walked past two homeless people ,one with a pitbul on a heavy steel chain.My puppy who only weighed about 5 pounds unexpectedly began to bark as we walked past the pit..The Pitbul lunged at my puppy; I pulled my pup up and away from the pitbul by the neck as I stood between my pup and the pitbul.Thank god, the pitbuls’ owner was fast as well, pulling the pitbul’s chain yanking the dog away, just barely missing biting my leg. Shit, I saw the eyes on the pitbul as it lunged for my puppy/leg and it meant business.The owner then started to swear at me for yanking my pup by the collar.
I was a very lucky woman that day…That was the first time my dog did that….There’s nothing wrong with having a healthy respect for pitbul’s and all animals, while your around them especially with children and other pet’s..

I had to pull my dog up by the leash in order to save him from the pit. who tried to attack.

Its always nice to see that there is always one person that just has to chime in with their own (questionable) personal story of terror. Its usually about a dog that has a shitty owner, like the two homeless slugs. I’m pretty sure someone that can’t manage to keep a roof over their head is going to be the dedicated owner that raises their dog properly. I highly doubt that poor animal had the structure in its life, let alone the diet, that would promote a happy, well adjusted, animal. Whether it be a pitbull or any other breed.
Pitbulls are not bred to be aggressive to humans, that’s a fact. They were bred to be aggressive to other dogs, and most reputable breeders recognize this and do their best to breed this out of their dogs. As always, there are breeders that try their best to breed this into their animals in order to take advantage of an innocent animal. Shameful!!!
I was drug off my bike and mauled by to 2, 100lb sheppards, and to this day I am not a fan. Me not liking a certain breed of dog doesn’t give me the right to dictate to everyone else what breeds someone else can own. All dogs are unpredictable to a point, they’re animals. Doesn’t mean that we should outright ban any of them. That’s just fear mongering, stupidity.
Its funny we, as a society, put things on the endangered species list every day, but because there is a Facebook group against these animals, its ok to do our best to eradicate the breed. Way to ho humanity, how to throw your weight around. We’re such a bunch of entitled douchebags!!!
