  1. Why is it so hard to find a tissue, or a handkerchief (yes, some folks still use those germ magnets) in your own pocket, purse or other place? Small easy to carry packages of tissues are available in stores. It is nice of some places to have tissues available in waiting areas for people to use but not a requirement. Also, many medical offices are located in buildings that have washrooms and access to TP or paper towels, at least.

  2. Next time, take your boot or shoe off and hold it up to your face to sneeze into. Maybe someone will be so disgusted they will offer you a tissue. And, if not, it will at least give the other patients an amusing story to tell around the dinner table.
