OK, so there is alot of construction going on in north end Dartmouth particularly my street and Monday through Friday I have to endure the loud constant jackhammering, bulldozers, dump trucks and other construction-related noises until the end of October possibly November as you say. I’m not bitching about your job and that you have no control of the noise but does it have to start at 6am?!?! And why on earth do we have to endure this noise on a Saturday?!? Thank god I don’t have a baby or young child. How about the noise be limited to at least Monday to Friday?!? —Blondie

  1. blondie sweetie, if you have trouble sleeping thru the noise, maybe i can come over, and help you pass the time more pleasantly. then you won’t even notice those sounds anymore, thru the moans and screams of your extacsy.

  2. blondie sweetie, i can help you get rid of the noise, by the screams and moanings of yourself, as i bring you to extascy. you won’t even know they are there.

  3. Blech. I sympathize with this bitch. I could sleep through this type of noise, but I’d be pissed as FUCK if I couldn’t and 6am on a Saturday I had to deal with this shit.

  4. They could drag out the construction a bit more and avoid early hours and weekends but that will cost taxpayers more.
That’s the great thing about living down here near Windsor, nothing new ever gets built.

  5. CMHunt is right. 7-7 is the law. if they even start a piece of gear before that or have it running after they’re breaking the law.

Call the popo’s… every time they break it.

  7. Call your councillor too. They should be able to escalate this. Good luck. You shouldn’t have to put up with that.

  8. HAHA I’m not having trouble sleeping thru the noise but my BF on the other hand wont stop bitching about it and in turn wakes ME up so BLOW ME! haha I will have to check out the city by laws especially since I tried to leave this morning at 9am and then had my driveway all blocked off with tape and a big ass hole dug. Had to drive over my lawn to get to work lol
