What is it with people who put up an ad looking for somebody to work. A person takes their time to send emails, resumes, telephone calls and they never get back to you OR when you do get in contact with them they sound very aggravated and say, can you call me back in an hour, OR the best one is “the position is filled” and clang the phone in your ear. If a person goes out of their way to call you and you can’t speak right then… YOU call them back… not the other way around. If the position is filled… THEN TAKE THE FUCKING AD DOWN!!! You folks need not be so fucking rude. And as a side note… GO FUCK YOURSELF!!! There… now I feel better. —Pissed at Classifieds

some people are too fucking lazy to take them down, or they hope someone better will come along. had it happen to me a few times. was told that i got job, only to find out they were still interviewing people. i did get job, and lasted 3 years there.
This person you called probably has had a thousand calls about the job and is getting impatient. Still no need to be rude though.
When you call, you are probably just talking to a receptionist who has been answering calls all day for a job that doesn’t exist anymore while they are trying to get the rest of their work done and it may be someone else’s responsibility to take the ad down. So as they say, shit flows downhill.
