Or just stop with this foolishness…
There is no “other kind of history” Just history.
Today’s generation can hum and haw about all the atrocities commited by our forefathers. Taking down statues, plaques, etc. will not erase how history was written and it’s not fair to blame today’s generation for past grievances.
This specific story needs to have the complete story from both sides before anyone can pass judgement on who committed atrocities.
And remember in that plaque to mention what the french and Aboriginals did also. I’m getting tired of the one-sidedness of this – that the English were bad, the french good, and the aboriginals innocent. They all committed atrocities.
