Way to keep up with times as they have the odasity to ask for more money for their poor fucking lame ass excuse for public transportation that they so call provide. FUCK YOU!!!! After four years of being away i am so glade to see that some things have not changed ( yeah right) Prices always go up but service stays at shit zero.

Agreed, Metro Transit does kinda suck. I actually see a driver who insists that you say “please” when asking for a transfer or he will not pull away or give you one. I guess he a member of the “polite police”

I agree 100% with the OP… I had a driver tell me if I didnt smile at him to sit in the back of the bus and exit the back door when I get off. I waited for another bus. The more you pay the less service you get.

If you waited over 45 minutes for a bus, you’re about as dumb as your spelling mistakes make you sound. Go get a coffee/tea or plan your trip better. Can you read? Get a schedule, or go online.
Actually, I’ve noticed that Metro Transit service has improved quite a bit over the past decade. The majority of the fleet is now new low-floor busses less than ten years old, there have been many new services added, including the successful MetroLink and MetroX, more frequent service on most routes, etc. And don’t forget the sexy new logo (which I believe is a ripoff of the former Aliant logo, but whatever. Still very sexy).
$2.25 isn’t bad, either. It’s a lot more expensive in many cities.
Be thankful it isn’t like certain parts of England where the distance you travel determines the fare. It’s so bad in certain cities that the drivers are caged in to protect them from the filth.
If you’re going to get the bus in the winter, maybe you should dress for it. I choose to say please and thank you to my bus drivers cause perhaps it will make them forget (temporarily) about fucktards like you.
Metro Transit is horrible. Ever file a legitimate complaint with them, Metro Transit will turn it around and blame the passenger. I caught a bus driving smoking in a off-duty bus, I complained, Metro Transit denied it. Now when I drive, I purposely block buses, slow down and it they try to pass block them again. They are useless. People should not be using their horrible service.
What really gets me is, the bus in my hood is every hour. So you go to the stop 6 or 7 minutes before schedule and when you are almost there the bus goes flying by…..
The driver is probably having a Nic Fit and trying to finish the route early WTF
The extra money is to help put more buses on the road so you only have to wait 35 minutes 😉
In all seriousness, everyone has had bad experiences with MT, including myself. There are larger cities in Canada with smaller transit services *coughLondoncough*.
Don’t forget, buses have dashcams now, so anyone who gets their car damaged driving like idiots gets to have their insurance co and police show them a movie. Just something I thought I’d toss out there (and it is a double-edged sword as it also catches bus drivers being idiots too)
