I fully understand and support the fixing of that barber shop’s oil tank. It’s terrible what some asshole did, causing thousands of dollars in repairs needed. However, the construction workers/city have closed just about the whole block on Windsor St. for parking. This means that all of the shops on that street have no space for their customers to park. Word has been spread that this project will take another two months to complete.
From what I hear, it has been a hard winter for businesses in the area and the construction is certainly not helping matters.
There has got to be some agreement construction workers/the city and shop owners can come to in order to allow more parking and a sufficient amount of work space for the construction.
And lastly, I think it was completely unnecessary to get the cops involved, come on people, lets be civil. It’s hard for independent shop owners sometimes, have some compassion. —Across the Street Observer

I haven’t been there since before Christmas. Is it simply construction, or an environmental cleanup. I can see how that would be a major headache in an old neighborhood where the houses are crammed so close together. Sounds to me like the only person to really blame here is the crotch-cannibal who sabotaged the tank.
considering he’s had his windows broken as well, it would be nice to see some cooperation and a speedy outcome
OB, there are plenty of other places for consumers to shop than Windsor Street. And no doubt with lower prices.
This has nothing to do with the barbershop. He doesn’t tell them where to park. Sheesh.
I don’t think OP was blaming the barbershop at all , FS…
Fixing that shouldn`t adversely affect the whole neighborhood, it`s true.

Sounds like someone called the cops on him or the workers, and I was really talking to whoever that was. Should have been more clearer-ish.
