Each time I walk by you, you’re playing some obscure folk song, but it always happens to be one of my most-loved ones. It makes me feel a little less lonely, as I’m sure it lifts the spirits of many others every day. I wish I had the ovaries to one day pipe in and sing ”The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll” with you (if you didn’t mind, that is)! Please continue to play as you do. —I Wish I Was Joan Baez

I know who you’re talking about. He sleeps in my bed every night. Im afraid flirting with this one will get you nowhere. Sorry.
I don’t think OL was flirting with your boyfriend — I think they were just saying they like his music.
You sound like the typical jealous-controlling-musician girlfriend who always seems to have something to prove.
Go away. And while you’re gone, work on your reading comprehension skills.

Brewgal, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you’re posting out of kindness to the OP to keep her from getting her hopes up, instead of out of jealousy. Really, if you have cause to be jealous because OP is indicating she likes his music … perhaps you have an underlying trust issue that you might want to address.
PK, based on what I’ve witnessed in the Halifax music scene … I have to say that the jealousy you speak of is far too often a valid reaction.
