Stick it out, kid, no matter how it sucks. Once it’s over, it’s over. In ten years, you’ll laugh at how lame it all was but at least you’ll have an education. We’ve all been where you are.
that and you have a shit load more time off whilst in school. the real world doesn’t have summer/winter/spring breaks… the world keeps turning and business goes on and on. The first year or two of living on your own are rough because you never get the breaks you’ve been used to but TRUST me, it’s all worth it once you get in the stride. edjumacate yourself.
No shit, zZz. I fucking MISS school now sometimes. It was so damn easy.
And you don’t tend to get fired from school if you sleep in and don’t bother showing up. You run the risk of flunking, but…for those classes where the prof just reads their powerpoints they acquired from the text book publisher that they put up online for students to download…well…it’s a pretty safe bet that not bothering to show up for the majority of the classes isn’t going to affect your GPA that much 😛
OP sounds like they’re in HS though…HS kind of does suck monkey balls for a variety or reasons, but if you don’t finish you’re pretty much fucked up the ass. HS might suck but the types of jobs you’ll get without even a HS education suck even more (along with the pay those jobs generate).
I know I also found grade 5 was hard, but the third time wasn’t as bad as the first 2 times. You know what they used to say, “If at first you don’t succeed try something else”, or something along that line.
Perhaps this gent needs to be subject to some Financial courses. Acronyms like CSC or IFIC or LLQP or CFP sound fun… but in reality (and to any of you who have taken these courses) they’re so unbelievably boring. HS is a bleeding joke compared to the stuff you have to deal with after the fact.
