The Mtones are a full horn band, with keyboards, full rhythm section. If you want to see something shittier and smaller, go watch a DJ play records.
The guys in the Mellotones have made their lives studying great music that people can dance to, and they make half decent coin for doing it.

This bar does book different bands… every other day of the week. But Thursday is my night, don’t fuck with it.
These guys have been playing so long because they are amazingly talented musicians and great performers. They put on the best show in Halifax. The problem isn’t them, it’s that we don’t have enough bands like them. If they ever stop playing I’m going to cry. I’m not kidding about that.
