Every lingerie store I go to sells only padded bras. Underwire, I can understand (the girls need it if they are above a B), but padding??? On a C cup??? I don’t think any girl with a C or bigger needs padding of any kind. And what is with the push-up trend on these sizes? I tried on an incredible bustier, and couldn’t buy it because the C cup bra was padded with another full cup of material. It made me look like I was trying to brag. —Biggie Titty Committee

  1. Tits & Ragtime, Tits & Ragtime.(I know, should be an album title). Any feminazi who tries to tell me that wimmin’s issues are under-discussed in our “patriarchal” society is gonna get a facefull of linzsertorte. I’ve got a prostate the size and shape of a goat’s head but you don’t hear me whingeing about it. >; )
    P.S. I ♥ BOOBS

  2. Right on, Ivanski – these tits and twat posts are pretty fucking boring. If the men here started posting about narrow urethras or superfluous third nipples, I’d be a lot more fucking interested.

  3. Bahaha… more boobie talk! What a way to start a Monday.

Commooooon – more interesting discussions, por favor!

  4. As a larger cup size, myself, I can completely understand! There’s only two places in the entire province that you can find larger cup sized bras and they cost well over $150. I think this is a totally legit bitch, considering the costs involved and relative rarity of something our society would usually deem necessary for well-endowed women to wear. For Ivan, you’d mentioned a medical issue you have, which can’t be comfortable and I hope you feel as well as possible with that, but it should be noted that larger breasts aren’t a medical issue. No tax breaks for over-the-shoulder-holders, I’m sure.

  5. Just living up to my moniker, Busty. I don’t suffer from pains in the ass; I cause ’em! The only statement in my opening rant that needn’t be taken with a grain of salt is the last one. >; )

  6. HOW much padding is in the bras, OP? A LOT of bras have padding for, like snubiz mentioned, modesty.

It basically keeps your nipples from showing — esp when it gets chilly out!

  7. Agreed.
I have big boobs….I just want a bra that supports and keeps the girls where they should be. And a cute one that does the job would be nice as well.

I do not want padding. A lined bra to prevent nipple issues is one thing, but a bra that has some serious padding going on on the bottom part of the cup? Not necessary. That only forces the girls up under my chin. Being a girl of DD size, having them under my chin isn’t a good look.

And what the hell is up with bras that do what I want costing $200?

  8. I ruined a bra trying to modify it. All i want is a lightly lined, underwire bra. I end up with bras that have half a fake boob on the bottom of the cup. Do you know what it’s like when you end up wearing one of these ridiculou things, and you’re getting down with someone? I’m a 36C. I love my boobs. But these make me look at least DD, and the partner is a little confused as to why half the boob remains in the bra.

  9. biggy, come see me baby, you can let them all hangout anytime. i’ll even show you my impression of an electrsux.

  10. At least most of you can find a cheapish bra in La Senza or whatnot. I either have to get a too-big band size for my H cup at Plus Sized stores or shell out over 150$ for a 36G. It’s fucking criminal. I just want a decent bra.
And don’t even get me started on trying to find different styles when your boobs are bigger. Strapless is a no go, hell I can’t even find one with removable/interchangeable straps. fml

  11. $150? $200? It’s a fucking bra, not a goddamn circus tent. I have never paid more than $30 for a bra and that includes the forklifter’s fee.

  12. Cherry — have you tried Additionelle? They have G & H cups and they’re only around $50. And they usually have a buy one get one half off deal going on. My mom buys her H cup bras there (and even those are a little small for her….poor poor woman).

And I’m only a C, but I can’t even wear a lasenza bra — they are VERY flimsy. I have a couple I end up wearing with sun dresses that show a lot of skin because they’re little and disappear under the dress but other than that I usually wear full support bras because they’re comfier and make my boobs look amazing (and they have really cute designs at the place I get mine :)).

Right now I’m looking for a good strapless bra to wear with some strapless dresses and…*shakes head* I haven’t had much luck 🙁

  13. Any of you ladies know where I can send the girlfriend to get a proper fitting ?
She (like many of you here) constantly complains about Bra’s especially the additional padding that she hates…but she complains harder about the price.

I would be more than happy to buy her a bra or 2 or 6 (how many should you have ) even if they are $50.00 or more.
But she starts to seethe when a bra she thinks might fit & she likes, is in the upper $20.00 range !
She hates ‘torture devices’ as she calls them. But for some reason I don’t understand won’t go into a high end establishment to see what might be the best size & type, & I can’t help ,because I haven’t the faintest idea of what she needs.

  14. Hmm. I am a C cup and I don’t NEED to wear a push up bra or a bra with a bit of padding, but it doesn’t hurt if I am wearing a cute dress or shirt or are going out for the evening and want a little extra BAM! Haha

  15. OH, and about the proper fitting. It really depends who you are going to. Different places can give you different fittings. I went to Victoria’s Secret to sized me 34C. But then another very nice bra store who specializes in this stuff measured me a 32D.
I always say, look for a bra. And check for the following things.
You’re not hanging out in the front. You don’t have extra room in the front. It fits comfortably on the biggest size in the “do up” part in the back. (You don’t want to hook it on the last notch because once you wear the bra it stretches). Then make sure it isn’t giving you rolls on your back. Then lastly, try on a shirt over the bra and make sure the twins look good.
Different stores make the bras slightly differently.. So try a couple and decide what looks best.

  16. Hope that “Dreaming of Big Boobs” is reading this and counting her blessings. My wife is 36DD. She says try the Sears Outlet Store at Halifax Shopping Centre.

  17. i’m a 38G and i go to additionelle… they fit amazing, are usually $40-50, and they constantly have sales on their bras. the ladies at the hsc annex are super helpful too!

  18. Now this is a titty thread…

But, have to echo sebastian here: if it’s not on the news then these bitchers don’t have tits that big! 😛

  19. You can get some great wire-free bras….even for larger boobs. My mom has a few wire free ones. You don’t get the same lift, but they do the job quite well.

  20. La Senza sells a fantastic bra with no padding for an okay price that actually looks good and comes in more colours than tan, white, and black. It’s the “So Free – Fit For You” in the Classic style. Trust me, I have great difficulty finding bras and continued to buy 36D until I had a fitting and realized I’m actually a 34DD. Anyway, best of luck.

  21. PS…. that is the ONLY bra that La Senza sells with full support and more than a hair elastic holding the cups together. They are underwire and you should get them a little snug in the band because they do stretch out. Please, please try this bra. They go up to DD and you may be able to order an E.

  22. Silken Lingerie in Park Lane (I hope it’s still there…) is the place to go for fittings and a ta-ta holder that’ll fit right. They carry up to an H in most lines, and have a line that goes to K (!!!!!).
They usually have a good On Sale rack. I’ve paid anywhere form $60-$130.
Bras and shoes are two things a woman should never cheap out on.

  23. What the heck? I have the opposite problem. I like the push-y up-ness of certain bras and do not own and will not own a bra without the extra padding underneath. It keeps them up in the right spot and no nips show through :D! But whenever I go into a store, I find it hard to find bras WITH that extra padding so where exactly are you all shopping that has only bras with it?
