  1. BUILDING A LASTING HOME

“Emotional co-dependance is not how you build a lasting home.” Keeping my mouth shut anyway

What would you suggest is the way to build a lasting home? Since “emotional co-dependance” is off the table and “emotional co-independence” doesn’t make sense, how about emotional independence? But does that make sense either? Write back soon.

    A pleasure as always.

    Cheerio!

  2. well obviously you are not keeping your mouth shut, you are blabbing it all over the internet.

what purpose does it serve to post this?

  3. Yes, Mizz… needy people need constant counterparts to complete them. Emotional (as well as financial) independence builds a sense of security. It’s about not needing to rely on someone else and take their shit; just to get by. Emotional independence, as OP put it, is about being happy and okay with yourself, just you — as you are. It’s about having a life and interests and knowing you wont self-destruct being in a room by yourself. There’s a certain strength about loners.
