They’re doing their job. Plain and simple. Not because they’re “walking hard-ons”, not because they don’t know “what a real rock concert is supposed to look like”, but because it’s what they’re paid to do. If you really HAVE to bitch about someone, make it the promoter, make it the Metro Centre, make it someone who has authority. Not some guys who are just trying to pay the bills. Drop the ignorant self-righteousness please. And no, I don’t work security.

For every shirt removed, five others in the vicinity had to endure the filthy little punk’s body odour. For every smoke lit, the rest of us had to breath in the remnants of a disgusting habit. For every shoulder climbed, others behind had their view blocked. And for every camera phone snapped, the rules on recording a commercial event were broken. Rock and roll is not dead, and it’s nice to know that one of its components is a structure that supports a society where the greater majority remembers and appreciates what a sense of order and respect for others is supposed to look like.
