I just wanted to write and thank you for the great article on the pesticide by-law. With the exception of Farmer Clem’s (as you pointed out), Atlantic Superstores, Sobey’s and Zellers, the behaviour of the big retail chains has been a slap in the face to both the by-law and the will of the public in HRM.
Thanks for your leg-work and reporting what’s happening in retail-land. We need more coverage to light a fire under HRM staff and council, too.
