Not to go on a tangent here but you should look into the causes of the food crisis. There is more than enough food grown each year to feed the world population it's just politics and economics that stop it from getting around evenly. Also, every year massive amounts of food that can't be shipped and or doesn't have a buyer gets thrown out. Hundreds of tons of it, all around the world. It's completelty liason and runs on the dollar. Welcome to the machine.

As for how abortion can relate to third world countries I have no doubt that women there would be having them done by doctors if there were enough of them there that could be afforded.

I used to mediate debates years ago in high school. This is the debate I avoided having been brought up at all. Waay too heated. Outside of that I'll stay out of it.

I do ultra long distance bike tours (I biked the general coast of Nova Scotia in 3 weeks the summer before last, whole route I took was about 3000 kilometers. It's easier than you think you just have to have a road bike and take your time). People always ask me if I worry about all the fast drivers way out in the middle of nowhere, I tell them that you can hear each car. When someone is driving fast I just move to the shoulder.

Get used to it OP every girl gets hung up on some asshole more than once in her life. The fact that it's your mother makes no difference to the sad truth. Girls need a control game 80% of the time. I'm not even going to admit to being sexist here, this observation is a psychological axiom.

So one story "supports" the other. The concert scandal HAS to be compared to this story. There are wastes of money everywhere motivation is the factor in wrong doing.
