I agree with Tim on this point. Just another example of how the upper management do not have a clue what they are doing. They want to promote Halifax as a world class city, build stadiums and convention centers yet this is how they handle themselves. It is another black eye to the integrity and reputation of this city. MacKay (PPE) as a corporate entity, like it or not should not be held responsible.

"Kelly has to go" Giving it a rest in the media or a publication like The Coast doesn't mean you're forgetting about it. When the time comes, voters will speak loud and clear. The police didn't find any merit, the councillors voted to move on and sadly the people that are bitching the most about the Kelly are the ones that complain about everything. Like an old dog with a shoe. There are much bigger issues in the city, I wish the naysayers would inject some passion into those matters. Concert-gate? Give me a break.

Yawn. I believe I've read this same article multiple times already. We all get the point. I don't think many would disagree but there is nothing new here. Is there not something else happening in HRM that could be written about?

I would disagree with you on that statement because they did raise the price on the tickets. That would say to me that they are comfortable with the amount sold as of that date. If you remember, the "early bird" price for the BEP show stayed the same right til the actual show. Tim, you're reminding me of a late night comedian with a good celebrity scandal story. Without it, what would you write about? There is definitely a story but the problem with most people is that read one or two then form an opinion about the people involved. The city spun this to make MacKay out to be the enemy and I think TCL is the one to be investigated.
