Why am I seeing American Apparel ads in my head now. Ewwww!!!
You may be a Dirty Punk, but I love your perfect spelling and grammar. I <3 u and yur dog.
I ate there with BF yesterday, and the food was quite good. He had the mac and cheese, which came with a spinach salad, and was wonderful (I kept sneaking bites of it) The food is freshly made and nicely presented. I had a Cobb salad, which was unremarkable. A bit too much iceberg lettuce and breaded chicken, and not enough dressing, but again, this is a hard dish to mess up. Good food, good service, nice clean place. Also they sell movie ticket for $7 which is cheaper than the usual price. My only real quibble is that the server abandoned us after the main course, and I wanted to try the bread pudding. Oh well, next time then.
Well, I agree about the flimsy buns, they need something a little more sturdy that will stand up to a hot burger and a lot of toppings. I ordered a single burger with cheddar and bacon and various toppings. It tasted great but felt apart in my hands.
The cash guy was overly chatty and the flirting with the younger female customers was kind of lame. The girl who put the toppings on the burger could also improve her customer-facing skills, although the staff doing the actual cooking appear to be competent.
I have not tried the fries or poutine. All in all for a fried hamburger with exotic toppings, it was good but not out-of-this-world, and I may think twice about spending so much time waiting in line for a $10 hamburger. I think I could manage something better at home, as I already have a vast selection of condiments in my fridge.
For an eat-out burger, I prefer Darrell's in Halifax, but for a Dartmouth outing this will do. I think more seating might be good, most people seemed to get their food to go, which I cannot imagine.
What is your point, Raoul Duke, that the review contains a lot of adjectives? Did you actually read the review? I thought it was well written and quite useful.
Uh, IRS? What country do you live in, no_fool? It is called the Canada Revenue Agency. Watch American TV much?

Re: “Halifax drivers need to stop fucking everything up”
Actually I kind of like it when someone stops and lets me do a left turn in front of them. I blow kisses!
