Amen Op!
Beige vinyl siding should be banned from sale in this province. There is far too much of it!
Heres two other ghetto things Halifax could work on getting rid of:
1) Above-ground services and wires - this place looks like downtown Saigon with all the derilect leaning wooden power poles and wires hanging everywhere.
2) Mismatched, rustbucket, 15 year old taxis. Get some respectable taxi regulations! Having some guy in a rusted out 1991 Windstar or a teal Intrepid as your cab service is laughable.
make the cabs all a certain type of car(s) and a few acceptable colours (i.e. Yellow, white and black). Having a fleet that looks like a used car lot in Sackville must make visitors wonder what backwards part of the world they are visiting when they arrive in our fair city.
Yeah, You're right jennier....
There is nothing obvious about people such as this which could be easily addressed to make them look a little more normal:

Nothing at all... And this is an add PROMOTING this stupid crap
Yeah I used to wonder why the ocean was salty - and then I moved to Halifax.
I call it the 'Nova Scotia Snow-shovel'. Basically you measure how many inches of snow there is, double it, and that is how much salt you put on your sidewalk.
Why sweep away the dusting of snow when you could dump a ten kilo bag of SALT on it instead? Save yourself five minutes of work and keep your lawn looking awful all summer.....
why not just get a licence?
Does it matter how old and shitty your car is? No. You still need insurance and a licence....
How many times has it snowed in Hali this year? Twice? Seriously OP, step away from the ledge....
Yeah that sucks OP, but seriously what is up with NS and people apparently not knowing the difference between "breaks" and "brakes"?
I am by no means the grammar and spelling police, but come on! Nearly every traffic-related bitch on here will see the poster write: "And then I had to slam on my BREAKS!!"
Now we have the opposite problem here, where the poster writes "brake the ice" when the clearly mean "break the ice".
Sorry, pet peeve of mine. Anybody else notice this phenomenon?
Re: “Canadian convention business is lagging”
Huge. Waste. Of. Money.
I will eat my own hat if this centre ever loses less than a million bucks a year. That would be a staggering success...
To think it will be profitable? Utterly foolish.
Keep it up Tim. This whole thing is a joke from the get-go.
