Big changes at Halifax Shopping Centre
[image-1] Shoptalk has learned from one of our intrepid mall-walking reporters that a number of Halifax Shopping Centre (7001 Mumford Road) retailers are shutting their doors, with today being the final day of a series of end-of-lease sales. Athletes World, West 49, Susie Shier and Fairweather on the main floor are all closing, along with Stitches upstairs. A staffer at one of these stores said the mall is “going high-end,” with new stores opening soon including Forever21, Aeropostale and Victoria’s Secret.
