Update, July 24: This move is apparently on hold, for the time being any way. No one’s giving details or explanation, but we’re told that Yuk Yuk’s will remain at the Westin through at least the end of August. Best bet is to call 429-9857 to confirm the location before heading out.
Movin’ on up to the big time, the local location of Yuk Yuk’s, the world’s largest chain of comedy clubs, will this week be moving from its Westin Hotel digs to 5680 Spring Garden Road, underneath Mexicali Rosa’s in the former Club Caliente spot. The transition should be seamless, with the Westin location closing Sunday and the new spot opening with a special Picnicface show Tuesday, July 28 and Comedy Network star Jon Dore July 30, 31 and August 1, 2.
