I was at a little sidewalk goodbye soiree last night when Wendy pulled up on her bicycle. Not many things put me over the edge—but a chocolate brown velour riding helmet with a ribbon tie will do it. Wendy is from the States and is working here restoring a house on North Street. Cool, right? Calling Pittsburgh home (it sounded like she could name a few places she considered home, which I liked) she picked up this absolute BEAUTY of a helmet gem at Elsie’s.
I leave you with this, dear readers, what on EARTH would Halifax do if it weren’t for Elsie’s? If you’ve never been, go. You’re guaranteed a sweet find.
