Tim Outhit’s Rookie Move
Councillor Tim Outhit claims that while he voted today to reconsider last week’s vote against funding the Chebucto Road widening project, when it came time today to vote on the actual project (as opposed to the motion of reconsideration), he voted against it. He says that he is against the expenditure of $2 million for the project. When it is pointed out that a “no” vote on the reconsideration motion would have killed the $2 million expenditure, he says he “wasn’t aware of that.”LISTEN>>
Bob Harvey tested it twice
Like Tim Outhit, councillor Bob Harvey said he voted for the motion of reconsideration but against the actual motion to widen the road.
