Whether or not you’re the type to get all hopped up on the holidays, breathing in the smell of a freshly cut fir tree on a daily basis is pretty nice. Back with it’s annual fundraiser, the Ecology Action Centre will be taking orders for organically grown, sustainably logged balsam fir trees, and wreaths, straight from Kevin Veinotte’s LaHave Farms. By buying one of these trees you’ll support the good work of the EAC, but local farmers, too. And, blow out that pumpkin spice candle, these badboys double as giant air fresheners.
Order yours by calling 429-2202, stopping by the Historic Farmers’ Market (1496 Lower Water Street) on the next three Saturdays from 8am-2pm or trolling your way to ecologyaction.ca/trees. Pick up your wreaths, trees and good tidings December 15 at the Bloomfield Centre (2786 Agricola Street).

Been doing this for the last couple of years. My order for a wreath and a tree is already in. Thanks EAC!
