After and amazing stay at The Old Hedley Road Inn (http://ww.oldhedley.com) with some fantastic people, I took some shots of the horses and the passing cattle herd who graze around the property.
A couple long climbs through very dry, desert scenery and I was at the top of a very large mountain area with a small town at the base. Rushing down the mountain, with gear in town and the hand again more than walnut crunching, I saw many signs for what looked like some beach town straight out of California and I thought that this place might just be a coastal wannabe town with their surf/skate shop and small lake beaches but, like a mirage in the middle of the desert (Canada’s only desert according to the sign), this is a beautiful, beautiful place that would even fool me, a coastal resident, from its faux 7/4 shoreline.

Here’s a pic of the horses:

Some Cows:

This was really interesting (and I hope you appreciate it because I had to slow down on a 92% decline going 38km/hr to take this pic!) it’s called a spotted late… I’m not sure the reason of why it is spotted like this but I’m sure our good friend, Mr. Know It All Google could tell you:
