I was fortunate again today as, out of something unfortunate, something great happened. First, I must say.. that I am now HALF WAY!!!!!

Second, check out some awesome Geese:

Third, here’s the story of the day:

So, yeah, as I was saying, out of something unfortunate, came some awesome. I blew a tube and, successfully change the tire for the FIRST time (YAH!). But, just then, the bike pump had to go and break as I tried to pump it up (this happens very, very rarely as the bike pumps have lifetime warranties). So, I put the thumb out there for the second time and sure enough some nice Forestry Worker had a van and was able to pick me up; he offer to take me to Kenora where he had to work and so, seeing the possibility at extra time, I took just that.

So, I’ve been in Kenora with an old friend (and the only friend I’ve had the fortune to stay with that didn’t live in a major city but yet was conveniently located on the Trans-Canada). I’ve been here in Kenora for two nights and got another much needed rest of the ol’ knees (who were definitely letting me know that they weren’t the biggest fan of the excessive biking schedule). So, I’ve heard that I’m in for some fun biking to Thunder Bay so… here it goes!

This is the LOONIE BEAR where people make donations FOR THE LOVE OF THE LAKE!
