
I kept this day light (just 44km) so that I only had to bike a couple hours before Nelson so that I’d have time to relax before the show. I got into town around 1pm and proceeded to check out Baker St. while doing my laundry (which consists of 2 pairs of underwear, 2 biking shorts, 3 pairs of socks, 2 tshirts, 1 pair of jeans and 2 biking shirts).
The show was a lot of fun at The Hume Hotel (http://www.humehotel.com). I opened up for two fantastic DJs: DJ Kenzie Clarke (http://www.myspace.com/kenzieclarke) and Mama Miche (http://www.myspace.com/mamamiche) and they definitely had the people in a dance frenzy with their mash-ups of house and pop; favourite being an electro mix of House of Pain’s Jump.
