The Feed has learned that Tarek Kostek—founder of Tarek’s Cafe and Tarek’s Cafe 2—and his family, spearheaded by son Corey Clamp, are opening a new licensed eatery at the former location of Rock Island Bistro on Quinpool Road.
308 South by Tarek’s (6293 Quinpool Road) carries over the popular dishes from the other cafes—including soups, sandwiches and falafel—but with an added twist: authentic Acadian food. All the dishes will created by chef Peter Wilson.
The new place on Quinpool is scheduled to open on November 6.
