The “best yogurt on the planet ” is coming to Halifax via CherryBerry Self-Serve Yogurt Bar (6024 Robie Street). The popular American froyo franchise is opening its first Canadian location this Sunday, September 8.
There are 21 delicious flavours (Birthday Bash, Mango Cream Cake,
Cheesecakalicious, Java Caramel Cup Greek and Cookie Monster to name a few), 50 topping choices, sugar-free, lactose-free, gluten-free versions of their flavours as well as protein-rich Greek frozen yogurt and sorbets. There is truly something for everyone, but good luck choosing what your something is.
“The store will be very bright and cheery, with bright colours of lime green, pink and red,” says owner, Calla Shank-Hogue. “Yes, we are really excited and can’t wait to be open.”
If you don’t live downtown, you can still do the Cherry Berry at a second location opening early November on Larry Uteck Boulevard .
