It’s the north end’s turn to participate in some budgeting. Following up after Waye Mason’s participatory budgeting session last month at the Central Library, Peninsula North councillor Jennifer Watts will host a public vote tonight on how to spend $94,000 of community funds. Proposed projects on the ballot include $20,000 of capital upgrades to the Adsum Association for Women, $7,400 towards new furniture for the Canadian Mental Health Association, $18,797 on a camcorder package for iMove and many more! If you’re a north end resident, head out tonight and have your say. Voting kicks off at 6pm at the Italian Cultural Centre, 2629 Agricola Street.
