Just when we thought Plan B Merchants’ Co-op (2180 Gottingen Street, 406-1254) couldn’t fit anymore interesting, perplexing, wacky and beautiful things within its four walls, Second Base Goods slides in with some damn fine duds. The city’s newest thrift shop opened within Plan B last week (hang a left once you’re inside), bringing with it vintage clothing and some sweet hand-dyed jackets that you’ll immediately want to clear out your closet for. It is about that time for some spring cleaning though, am I right? Seriously though, Brendan Anckaert and Daina Tavenier —lucky for us—cleaned out their overflowing closets to create Second Base and share some beauties with the fashionable public.
