May i introduce you to the ladies behind Ropa Vieja Vintage? That’d be Angela Baxter, Maggie MacCormick and Sarah Maxwell. You might recognize their handmade and reconstructed pieces from street corners such as Barrington and South or perhaps the Khyber‘s Night Market. You see, they work in a pop-up shop style, bringing their muy fashionable mens and womens wears to new locations and new shoppers on a semi-regular basis, kind of like a travelling thrift shop. This Saturday (December 1) hunt them down at 2360 Creighton Street, where they’ll have their suitcases unpacked from 10am to 5pm for your perusal.
