Members of the local Persian community are holding a rally in support of Irani presidential candidate Mirhossein Mousavi tomorrow, Tuesday June 16, at 5pm, on Spring Garden Road in front of the Public Gardens. Everyone is invited to attend.

  1. Will the Raging Grannies be there or are they awaiting orders from NDP HQ as to which side they should support ?
    Will the rent-a-crowd from HCAP be there or are they awaiting orders from ……. I dunno, someone must give the marching orders unless it’s one of those collectives where they need a long chat to decide which side is more evil.
    If they plan on an after demo drink at The Fireside I may be tempted.
    Long time since I was in Iran, the Shah was alive and kicking back then and the people were quite nice. Just a flying visit and then back home for a little R & R. Look forward to a visit after the crazies are deposed/eradicated.
