As Shoptalk reported last month, a new record store has opened in the north end. Sure it sounds unlikely, but we assure you it’s true. Obsolete Records (2454 Agricola Street) is having it grand opening Saturday, May 22. The event will kick off at noon and will feature performances from Julie Doiron, Jon McKiel and more local artists to be announced. There’ll be album giveaways and food, so, come check out Obsolete’s amazing selection of vinyl and CDs, enjoy live performances, and even win some records.

The starting time for the opening has been changed to 11am on Saturday.
