Fans of Mary’s Place Cafe (2752 Robie Street, 454-2558) will be surprised at the changes to the place when you walk through the door. “We did some renovation,” says a jovial Roy Khouri on the phone. “New walls, new tables, new floor.” Khouri’s actually reduced the number of booths and added tables to better accommodate groups of diners. Along with that, you’ll find an expanded menu with more vegan and vegetarian items than ever, which should please all the non-carnivores in town.
