After a decade on Birmingham, the beautiful M Home (1471 Birmingham, 429-4333) is heading to Bedford. “As time went by, our business became more and more about in-home design” says Mark Martin, M Home’s inspired owner. “In 2011 it actually reached 95 percent of our sales”. In efforts to concentrate solely on the home decorating side of things, the business signed a lease at 1139 Bedford Highway with the aim of downsizing the store, and setting up a big showroom to show of its designs (that overlooks the Bedford Basin, no less). The newly focussed M Home is set to open April 1.
