It never rains but it pours in Halifax: Some weekends there’s
nothing going on, other times there’s too much. This weekend is an
example of the latter, with the jazz festival winding up, KISS playing
the Common, pride week starting. And of course the boats! The
boats!
A multi-tasking fan can handle the cultural rogue wave. Just paint
your face in one of these tall ships-themed KISS masks, and take your
same-sex partner to Saturday afternoon’s jazz fest shows in the tent.
Simple. And virtuous. After all: Waste not, want not.
