The Indie Boutik Collective—five designers who joined forces to defeat villains no single creative individual could withstand, like the Plague of High Rent—are planning to have a sale during Boxing Week.
“It’s similar to a craft fair, where we all have our own stuff,” explains Katherine Munroe about the collective that banded together in November. Munroe’s Dakini Silks and Things plays host to the IBC, at 1542B Queen Street, above Sweet Pea. The other designers are Laura Chenoweth Organic Apparel, Anna Gilkerson’s MakeNew Vintage, Blue Ladybug Design and Jere Brooks.
At the sale, December 27-31, you can expect 30 to 50 percent off goods store-wide, including 50 percent off Chenoweth’s fall 2011 collection and seasonal pieces.
