Starting February 4 and going through until Valentine’s Day is the Nova Scotia Winter Icewine Festival. Though many of the events are taking place out at Nova Scotia vineyards such as Benjamin Bridge, Gaspereau and Jost, a number of local joints are getting in on the action. Inquire at Five Fishermen and Little Fish (1740 Argyle Street, 422-4421), Brooklyn Warehouse (2795 Windsor Street, 446-8181), the Stone Street Café (1875 Barrington Street, 420-6544) and the Crown Bistro (1990 Barrington Street, 492-6443) about their ice wine/dessert offerings over the next week, or visit the festival website for more information on all the events.
