The burned out Dartmouth Hooters restaurant has be de-Hooterized, with all the signing removed. A readers says that last weekend someone was seen hauling what remained in the place outtathere. I’ve had no luck finding anyone connected with the place to comment on what’s up, but it’s safe to presume that Dartmouth just got a little less tacky.

I’ll buy that roofing material if it is for sale.
We need a highrise building on that corner, perhaps some government agency or department.
Good riddance.
Did it go tits up?
Strangely enough the location doesn’t seem to work for restaurants and bars. The fire inspector labeled the Hooters fire a suspected arson. This wasn’t the first such at this location.
Someone should buy the land from the current owner, tear down the existing “fire prone” structure and start again. Maybe some type of retail with offices/apartments above.
I used to live in that area and knew that location would fail. I am also a big Hooters fan. I have been to dozens in the US. One thing I can tell you is that the most successful ones in the USA are the ones in more …shall we say…reputable neighborhoods. But even the ones that arent do reasonably well. Hooters seems to have a negative aura up here in Eastern Canada for some reason. I find this strange as we typically are more liberal about such things. In the US Hooters is a family restaurant for crying out loud. They host little league teams dinners, childrens b-day parties, you name it. Put one at Dartmouth crossing it would do fine…
Now if this area could get rid of Ralph’s then the image of the whole area would improve.

the hooters owner from Hamilton called LEBLANC has set the place on fire to get insurance money, one he got the cash even it was arson , he sold the building next for nothing got the local investor money covered by the insurance and back to Hamilton where he run the hooters there, So that tell you what business hooters are
