Last week, north end vintage partywear provider Honeybee Vintage Bridal (2130 Gottingen Street) announced that unfortunately it’d be closing up shop come the end of May. After nearly a year in business—and much more time spent hunting down pieces from across the province—owner Melanie Peters has a sizeable, and stunning, collection of not just wedding gowns from days of yore, but a myriad of summer suitable, prom perfect party dresses as well—and she’s discounted all of them. Time to ease your Mad Men melancholia but playing Peggy! You can cash in on these markdowns until Sunday May 31, when Peters will host a Closing Day Yard Sale (from 11am-5pm) to clear out any remaining stock. Farewell Honeybee, you sure were sweet.
