Original AND clever! Who doesn’t love a Bangles reference?

Back just in time for summer is the bright shop that once graced Birmingham Street with its home decor, local art, unique accessories and the uber-popular Fiesta dinnerware (which is carried by just two spots in Canada, FYI). After closing last November, Limoncello…Your Lifestyle Store will re-open this weekend inside of Historic Properties (1869 Upper Water Street, 405-8399). It’s been a whirlwind revival for the shop’s owner Glenn Martin, who was approached by Historic Properties just three weeks ago with the idea.

“There’s a lot of things going on down here right now,” says Martin, adding that he thinks the foot traffic on the waterfront is perfect Limoncello’s demographic. “I think you’ll see [Historic Properties] come back to what it what. When you thought of a gift, you’d come here. And not just in the summer.”
