Halifax Pride Festival is not for another two months (July 18-28) but Halifax Pride is already taking community submissions. Those interested in being featured in the Halifax Pride guide must submit their event using this form by Wednesday, May 15.
Wednesday is also the deadline to submit an emerging artist to be Halifax Pride’s Featured Visual Artist. This is a new initiative to promote and highlight creative talent in our province.
Additionally, there is an open call for the Halifax Pride Parade Grand Marshal. If you wish to suggest a nominee, the deadline to submit a nomination form is Monday, Monday 20.Â
Don’t be late as this is a great opportunity for the LGBTQ community.
