Gloria
McCluskey is a two-schtick pony. She stands up for Dartmouth, and she is hard-nosed about budgets. Each has an up and a down side.
Standing up for Dartmouth is all well and good. McCluskey will be instrumental in bringing a cultural district to the Dartmouth waterfront, including (hopefully) relocating the municipal archives from a concrete storage unit in Burnside to a proper museum near the ferry terminal. But she often becomes a self-parody, when, for example, she complains that not enough of the “urban improvement” funds are earmarked for Dartmouth.
On the budget front, McCluskey seems to be running out of steam, and just going through the motions. She asks a few questions, but doesn’t much follow through. She seems tired, and disinterested.

Gloria needs to retire. She doesn’t even read the material anymore. Staff seem baffled trying to answer her most of the time, because it’s either off topic or plainly in the material what she’s going on about.
Lovely woman who’s done a lot for this city, but seriously Dartmouth you were foolish for re-electing her over a bunch of hard-working, motivated people.
Gloria,,,know when to step down….leave the bikers alone…they are being smart about their health, not to mention the savings in money for driving and owning a truck. Even with new rules and regulations,,,,accidents still happen. Step down my friend, You did well. Time for new blood. thank you Juniebeth Richardson
Gloria, read the previous report. Make copies and give it to the people complaining to you. Much cheaper and less time wasted.
