  1. A Note from Russ Billard

I went to the Seahorse Tavern for tonight’s show and give an honest opinion. Tonight was Screaming for vengeance’s first night out. A band I’ve heard practice for a very long time in my basement. I am a huge Judas Priest fan so I do not hope you find my opinions bios. They opened for 2 Minutes To Maiden. In my opinion, Screaming for vengeance is way ahead of the game, they have practiced underneath me for well over a year. They come out for their first time and produced a flawless show, the crowd was roaring. Victim of Changes had never sounded so good as this is my favorite song by Judas Priest. On with the show.. SFV is one amazing crew of musicians they have everything covered. I can not think of a band who on their first night out to produce so much positive attitude, asking around everyone loved them, the lead singer of the also great known band Broken Ohms has the voice and ability to sing lyrics to the metal god like he originally belongs to Judas priest. The complete set was amazing from beginning to end.

Onto the 2nd set “2 minutes to Maiden” who are these people. The guitar player looked about 15 and had his mom watching his every move from the floor. The sound was horrible. The iron maiden tunes that were played were not well known, they chose to play great songs, but had the lead singer have everything required to make these songs work. I must give a not here. In the end, there were 3 known singers on the stage, two from West Side Studios, including the singer of Screaming for Vengeance. To bring up the pace. In the end, the two last songs were the only ones to talk about.

There is not more I can say. Screaming For Vengeance stole the show in more ways than one. 2 minutes to Maiden should had opened for them. If your are or ever was a Judas priest fan. Do not let your age fool you, grab the opportunity to relive your childhood and go listen to this band perform, I guarantee you’ll not be unsatisfied, each and every member put their heart and soul into he actions to make it work. 100% Satisfaction. This band will travel the distance we all seek.

One very impressed Jam Room Studio Owner.
