What’s wrong?
Crappy patch job, Dartmouth High School parking lot.
Who’s responsible?
Wayne Clark, operations, HRM school board, 464-2000.
REMARKS
Last summer Clark told us the lot would be repaved before last
school year, but only last week did a crew get around to filling
some of the pot holes. The rest of the lot remains a mess, and
it likely won’t last another winter. The asphalt needs to be pulled up
completely, the underlying gravel re-laid and the job done right. For
now, the school board is sending a clear message: Dartmouth doesn’t
matter.

Forget the patch job for the school.
Build a new one on Brightwood and make it a community centre as discussed in the ‘Imagine our schools’ process. Daycare, adult learning, sports and school in a nice green setting.
Then bulldoze Dartmouth High.
