Cafe locations have introduced compostable take-out cups…Willows Pet Place (1526 Dresden Row) and a bunch of other local partners are in cahoots—to help your pet become healthier. Theyre launching a series of pet-food cooking classes. Check out their two-hour introductory presentation on February 29, in the Kenneth C. Rowe Management Building at Dalhousie, for $10. Over at the 6300 Quinpool outlet, the windows are papered over and a sign in the window mysteriously informs us, in bright orange letters, that Steamys is coming to the Maritimes, (and presumably opening in that very spot).
Whats Steamys? If you know, please tell me…The Pyramid Cafes windows are now covered with white, shower-curtainy plastic, the former sign about renovations is nowhere to be found and the Pyramid phone number is not working. Could this be curtains for the beloved vegetarian-friendly cafe? Tune in next week—same shop-time, same shop-channel.

Steamy is a term used in Montreal to describe their hot dogs, steamed hot dog, Steamed bun,”the classic” is mustard, onions and sauekraut”the Michigan” which is topped with spaghetti sauce or”supreme” which is loaded with cheese and baconor it could be something completely different
I think they were referring to a franchise named Steamy’s…not the term.
