After months of voting, waiting and voting some more, the group behind the Community Carrot Co-op Food Store finally got to hoist an oversized cheque this morning. Today, on Canada AM it was confirmed the Carrot was granted $115,000 in funding to make a co-op grocery store on Gottingen Street a reality. Take a look at the clip HERE and start your morning with a gymnasium of happiness. Celebrations take place tonight at 2101 Gottingen Street at 6pm.
